Hi

I have a basic access (97) database, containing client addresses and product
details.

I want to add a command which will allow data fields (name address etc) in
the displayed record to be merged with my letterhead template in word 97.
The result I am hoping for is that a single command button in Access will
open up the letterhead, merge the name and address data and leave me to
write the text.

Is there an automatic way of doing this or is there a good FAQ somewhere for
a fairly basic Access user like me

Apologies for X posting, but I'm not sure who would best answer this

Thanks all

Hi Torbit,

Check out the one-click word merge for ms-Access on fellow MVP Albert
Kallal's website at

http://www.attcanada.net/~kallal.msn/msaccess/msaccess.html

Or, if there are other things that you want to insert into the document that
would make a userform worthwhile, see the article “How to create a Userform”
at:

http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms/CreateAUserForm.htm

and the following article which also applies for Access as the source:

“Load a ListBox from a Named Range in Excel using DAO” at:

http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/InterDev/FillListBoxFromXLDAO.htm
