Access Database slower after office upgrade

Hi,

Have a Access Database that is running very slowly from
Access 2002 when making queries (Office XP on an XP
machine).

The database is very quick when you access it from a
machine running Access 2000.

Any suggestions?

To add to John's posting?

Would the machine running A2000 be a Win 95/98/ME system? And the
first system is the only Win XP client using the network? If so the
problem is solved by keeping a recordset open against the back end.

One of the two situations where this problem arises is adding the
first Win NT 4/2000/XP system to a network where you previously had
only Win 95/98/ME systems.
