Access Database on XP

I am developing an Access database on a XP system. I have colleagues who will need access to the database. All of my colleagues have Window 2000 machines which contain Access 2000. I am aware that they will not be able to open and modify my database using Access 2000. If I establish Data Access Pages and make them available to my colleagues, will they be able to access my database using those pages without corrupting the database
