Access Database Form > Text Field Box > Email Notification?????

I have created a new form in Microsoft Access 2003 and would like one of the
text field boxes on the form(formatted as a date. ex: 01/13/2006) to
generate, by macro, an email notification to myself that a specific date has
been met. My text field box is called: Remove Date. Basically, a user
filling out this form will enter a date they would like their entered
information (document, survey, text, etc.) removed from our Intranet. When
that date is reached I would like to be notified by email from the database
that this information needs to be removed from our Intranet because the date
deadline has been reached. This is a future project and I'm just now
getting started. A good starting point would be helpful. Thank you.

A key aspect of this process will be deciding *when* you want this to
happen. For example, when the database is opened, or when a form in the
application is opened or closed, or at 1:30am every day, or whatever.

Making it happen will involve a query that checks the table for any
records where the entry in the field in question is <=Date() and using a
count of records in this query as the Condition of a SendObject action
in your macro... this part will be easy.
