My multiuser database keeps getting corrupted. When new users log on to the database, they get a message saying that the database is coorunt and they need to perform a repair. They cannot repair the database because they do not have exclusive access. That mean that 20 other peiole have to sign off to do a repair and then the can all log on again
This is happening at least two or three times a day
I need to know how I can find the problem and how to resolve it so that it does not occur again
Can I get some help? Any suggestions?

Take a look at the Corrupt Microsoft Access MDBs FAQ that Tony Toews has at
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm

I am having a similiar problem. I copied my database to a
server that I share with mty co-workers so that they could
inpout their data. It works fine for a day but the next
day I get the corrupted message and it suggests a repair
but then it says it cannot repair the base and locks me
out.

Did you solve your problem? Did you learn anything that
could help me?

I am very frustrated and would appreciate any help.

Thanks
Betty

Check Tony's corruption FAQ:

http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm

The most common causes of corruption are noisy networks and users who
reboot or otherwise terminate running Access applications rather than
closing Access first, but there are many additional hints at this
site.

If you have not done so, you should CERTAINLY use a "split" database.
See the instructions at Tony's site.
