Access Beginner

Hi,

Basically I'm a total Acess beginner thrown in at deep end in new job. i
have a pool of numbers that needs to be centralised i.e. Under 1 persons
control. These are the fields I have

Number
Client
End Date
Start Date
Competition Name
Account Manager

I know its simple, but dont know where to start. I basically want to be able
to search and update the fields on a daily basis just not sure wher eto start
code wise and relationwise etc. All help gratly appreciated

help send me an example of the type of data you will be dealing with and
I'll help you through it.

I am a different person than the Bruce who has already responded. In
pointing this out I am not commenting on anything he wrote, but rather
pointing out that we are in fact two different people.
You will need to describe the purpose of the database. You have clients and
competitions and account managers, but how are these related to each other?
I'm not talking about relationships as defined in Access, but rather
requesting a general description of the project's requirements.
