I'm trying to import our corporate logo onto the Access
design for labels. What format does the artwork need to
be in and how many dpi?

The best format I think would be bmp; the smaller the better. Be aware if
you add the image to multiple forms and/or reports, this will make your
database grow very quickly. The best way is to add the image once in a table
and then reference the location to load the image into the report. The dpi
depends on how the logo was originally scanned or created through a image
program. If the image is small, then the dpi can usually be lower, such as
72 dpi. If the image needs to be 'magazine' quality, then you will use a
higher resolution when creating or scanning, such as 300-600 dpi. Whoever
has created the logo, have them create several examples. One at 72, 300,
600.

Note: I've also used jpegs successfully for 'home grown' address labels for
mailing.
