Thanks in advance for your help.

What is the easiest way to run an access app as a windows service? I'm
looking for options.

Thanks again.

hi Lance,

There are some third-party tools which allows to run almost any
executable as a service, but an Access application is not such an
application.

You may run Access using the Task Scheduler.

btw, why do you want to do that? Maybe there are other options.

Thanks for the rapid response. I want the app to start and run
unattended on boxes. I don't want to have to login to start the thing.

Thanks.

I do that using the Task Scheduler. You can give your ID and password
in the task file. If you check out COMMAND in the help file it will
tell you about using start up parameters. That way you can determine
if your task is starting the file or if some user clicked on it.
