General Question:
Any good books / websites that outline the process of making a
"web-enabled" database - both for the entering of data and the extraction of
reports.

Specific Questions:
1. Does it matter which version of access you have if you are using a
web enabled database? Do you need access at all?
2. What infrastructure is required to house & operate a web enabled
database?
3. Should i be posting this in a different newsgroup? if so, which
one.

Thanks

i tried sending you email but came back uncelivered.
anyway, i have exactly the same problem/question and
posted a message in the general discussion. I hope we can
help each other out if we get any response.

If you are using MS Frontpage to create your website
there are some useful tips from the help section
including how to create a link to an Access database.

To be able to operate a website with an Access database,
the server that your website sits on needs to be able to
provide this service. Your ISP will be able to tell you
if this is the case - sometimes they charge extra for
this service.

You are not restricted to using Access as your database
within a web.

Some further help may be available from this site, or try
searching the web for "tutorials", "website design"
and "database".
