Access and Outlook Calendar

If someone could point me in the right direction for research or code I would appreciate it. I have an application that is based in Access. What I want to do is use the scheduler function of Outlook inside the app. Essentially when an event is scheduled in Outlook, it shows up in the Access app and when an event is scheduled in Access, it shows up in Outlook. I didnt know if there is a Com or a special way to access that pst file or how exactly to go about it. The other problem is that my company uses an Exchange server so I would have to know how to access it using Exchange or using pst file.
 
Here's half the requirement. From Access, open an Outlook appointment, fill
in the main data, then open the appointment for the notes:

It does work with Exchange 2000 and 2003, I haven't tested it with 5.5.
