Access and Email

I just completed my first Access Table for all my
business contacts. Among the fields are email address
for every contact.
My question, is can I somehow click on a contact name
within Access to send an email and have my email program
open up, or do I have to import all my contacts to my
email program? I am just a little confused. I am hoping
I can send an email to any one of my contacts, and stay
within Access. Thanks for any help!

Hi Cayman,

Perhaps the simplest way is to use a Hyperlink field containing the
email address prefixed with "mailto:", e.g.
mailto:[email protected]
