I use MS 97 and in viewing the database all the lines (Grid) are showing
OK.
However when I print the database all the lines are missing. The last
time I printed the database, all the lines printed as well. I have
searched through everything I can think of in looking for something to
turn the lines back on for my printout, but can't find how to do this. I
would appreciate someone telling me how to do this.
Thanks for the help,

Richard Hodges

You can't print "a database" - in Access, the .mdb file is called the
"database", and it's a container for all your Tables, Forms, Reports
and other objects. It sounds like you're printing a table Datasheet.
I've seen comments about gridlines not printing, but I can't recall
the details.

However, you may want to create a Report, using the Report Wizard.
Table datasheets aren't really designed for data display or printing;
I usually open the datasheet only for debugging. If you create a
Report based on your table you can control the appearance, the sort
order, the arrangement of fields, and so on - it's much more flexible
than just printing the datasheet!
