Be sure that the database is completely compiled, free of VBA errors,
and compacted. Open it in A2000; accept the offer to convert the
database.
You may need to tweak your VBA code, especially references; you may
also find that some queries which worked in A97 don't work in A2000,
since A2000 is somewhat more stringent about proper query logic. It's
all fixable but may take some work.
