Access 97 save as/export problem

I'm trying to export data from an Access97 table into a
fixed format text file. When asked to choose the file
type, I'm not given the option of 'text file'. Any ideas?

Look for the file mstext35.dll on your hard drive (it should be in the
System folder), and reregister it using regsvr32.exe
