Access 97 Query

Working on a query created by someone I cannot contact and
I was hoping someone could explain what this column is
doing in the query.

Field: WeekNumInyr: DatePart("ww",[Week ending Date])
Table:
Total: Expression
Sort:
Show:
Criteria:
or:

I know that the WeekNumInyr: part is naming my
column "WeekNumInyr", but I don't know what the other
parts are.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

DatePart is an Access function. You can probably find it
in the help documents for a full explanation. It seems
that you have a date field called week ending date, the
function returns the week for each week ending date value.
