Access 97 needs repaired or it's not a database file.

Hello,

When trying to access a MS Access 97 database, an error
message "..... mdb needs to be repaired or isn't a
database file" When enter yes to preceed with repaired
another error message saying that the file can't be
repaired.

Is there any tool that I can try to recover this file.

Try out this utility on a copy of your db.

Have you already tried creating a new database and importing all of the
objects from the original?
