Currently I am running Windows 2000 and Office 2000 with
Access 97. When I download Snapshot Viewer and install it
I can view *.SNP files, but when I go to send a *.SNP file
via Access 97 it doesn't give me the option to do so.

Thanks
Tim

First, you should be in "print preview" -- then "save as" .. to external
database (I usually save to desktop) in Snapshot Format. Then you can just
insert into your email program.

As you know, the receiver must have the program installed, too. I have
PaperPort vs. 9.0 which allows me to save as pdf file. Almost everyone has
Acrobat Reader these days.

Is Access 97 at SR1 or higher? It needs to be for the Snapshot
functionality to be there. As you have discovered, installing the Viewer
has nothing to do with the ability to *create* SNP files.

If you are at SR1 or higher you are likely missing the registry entries
that cause the format to be available in the user interface.
