Is anyone running Access 97 and Access 2003 on same
machine? I just upgraded to Office 2003 but have a
client that needs support on Access 97 (heavy custom
VBA). I've been able to support side by side Access 97
and Access 2000 in the past. Hoping side by sides on
same machine can still be supported...

I know of many people that are running both. (In fact, I know people that
have Access 2, Access 95, Access 97, Access 2000, Access 2002 and Access
2003 all installed on the same machine)

While it only mentions Access 97 and Access 2000, The information Michka has
at http://www.trigeminal.com/usenet/usenet019.asp is applicable to the
situation you describe as well. See also
http://www.trigeminal.com/usenet/usenet018.asp to learn how to avoid
reregistration problems. He also has a link to a Microsoft article on this
topic on his page.

The usual recommendation is that the versions be install chronologically
(i.e.: Access 97 before Access 2003), but I've heard of people doing it in
the reverse order without any problems.

I've done the reverse or mixed up order several times and have had
only the well known A97 license problem.
