Access 2007 slow in design

I have a database that has a front-end and back-end. When I am in design on
the front-end changing or moving a text box or anything, it is extremely slow
and very iritating. Is anyone else experiencing this and if so how or what
can I change to speed up in design?

In Access 2003, Name AutoCorrect was known to cause slowdowns. I don't have
A07 handy to see how to turn it off.

As an experiment, try turning off your virus checker for a short while. See
if that helps.

A lack of memory, especially if also using Windows Vista, can really slow
things down.

I saw a recent post that said that having a default printer that is attached
to the network will cause this issue when running Access "off line". Try
changing your default to a local default printer driver.
