Access 2007 runs VBA code faster

I recently switched from Access 2003 to 2007 and noticed that 2007 runs one
of my larger VBA projects at least 300% faster. I'm quite sure it's not
faster queries, rather faster VBA code (conditions, loops, calculations,
etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this performance increase with 2007? Also, does
anyone know if queries run faster in 2007?

I have noticed some things do run faster in 2007 -- it takes longer to
load but there is a payoff
