Hi All,
Is this a known issue, if not, can anyone else recreate this problem?
Lets assume you have a parameter form which contains one or more unbound
controls, in my case, textboxes.
You enter data (appropriate for the action you are taking) in the textboxes
and click a button on the Ribbon to execute the action, perhaps run a report.
Hopefully what you will find is that the data entered in the last textbox
you visited, which still has the focus, is not recognised (it is Null).
You can easily recreate this by displaying a messagebox as the action
performed when you click on the Ribbon button.
The only work-around I've discovered so far is to change the focus to
another control before you execute the action (note. this work-around only
works if you have more than one control on the form otherwise you are stuffed)
I haven't logged this with Microsoft yet, in fact, I haven't logged the
other issue related to filters and spaces in table field names either; Just
want to get confirmation that this is an issue.
Your assistance appreciated.
