We have recently converted to MS 2007 and for the first 10 days, the property
sheet in Access displayed and I was able to utilize it. Now, it will not
display, regardless of whether I am working in an established database or a
new one. One other person in my section has the same problem, it was there
and available, now it is not. It doesn't matter whether you click on the
Property Sheet in form Design view from the Design Tab, right click and
select, or from the Database Tools tab. Any idea how I can get this
functionalty back - and even, why it stopped working.

Does this happen for all your databases, or just one?

Perhaps you minimize the form, and the property sheet is un-docked, and
sized so small you can't see it?

Also, perahps try using f4, it toggies the sheet off, and on...

the sheets ONLY show in desing mode, and layout view. But, for normal view
mode, the properity sheet don't show...

Also, if the property sheet is un-docked, then it can be *outside* of the
whole ms-access window. (so, try re-size the main ms-access window, or in
fact maximize it...).

Sir

This happens with all Access databases - even newly created ones. I tried
the minimimize/maximize, F4, etc. with no luck. I also tried all the above
in both design and layout views. One of my co-workers can pull up the
Property Sheet for the database in question, another one cannot.

Any other ideas?

I thinking the monitor size has messed this up. Try un-maximizing ms-access
(not the form, the application). Then, try toggling the property sheet view
off, then on. (hit f4 several times to toggle the sheet off/on. That
property sheet can appear ***outside*** of the ms-access window (you not be
looking for it inside of the ms-access window,
but outside on your "main" desktop window. if that don't work, consider
lowering your monitor resolution..try above again, and then increase
your monitor resolution.

Before you try *any* of the above, make sure you holding down the shift key,
and NONE of your startup forms and startup options are running when you
launch the application (startup options can disable the access keys,
including
the f4 key that will display the property sheet).

Check your startup options also (make sure the "use access keys"
are check boxed.

I had no idea what else to check here...

I am having this exact same problem. I am not able to show the Property
Sheet (or the Field List either). In fact, when in the design view of a
report or query, when I press the Property Sheet button, it does press down,
but as soon as I let go of the mouse button it comes back up (and no, it is
not grayed out). It is obviously not running the command and displaying it
off the screen. It did work at one time, however, is no longer working.

Please help.

Thanks,

Mike

I am not sure why I can't access my property screen although I see in in the pane on the toolbar (in Microsoft Access 2007) I am in design view, creating my form, I have highlighted the box I want to see the properties on, I have right clicked and selected properties also to no avail.
