I've noticed when running my forms database in Access 2007 under Vista that
when I click some of the command buttons, the buttons appear to stay
depressed (that is as if they are toggle buttons). On XP, it doesn't do this.

Has anyone seen this?

No, but I've seen it happen before when the video card or driver wasn't
fully compatible. First, see if there is an updated driver for your video
card.

Arvin,

Thanks for the reply. I checked and the video driver is the latest one
(this is a new Dell box...) Any other suggestions?

Thanks Arvin. The Dell box came preinstalled with Vista Ultimate and being a
top line PC, should have no problems with Vista. I'll just keep checking for
any video card updates from time to time.

It never hurts (too much) to give Dell a call every now and then and ask
them as well.

Chris,

Always good to test the advice first. I'm running office 2007 under Vista
Enterprise on a dell d820 laptop and have no issues which you describe. I do
encounter some problems though when inserting .png files. In one db the
picture shows up perfect whil in another one it is all raffled. When I copy
paste the picture from the first DB to the second the problem seems to be
gone. Have you tried inserting a new button? Try it click on it and if it
doesn't act as a toggle remove the code from the first button and paste in
behind the second. I know not a fancy solution but it might work.

It's always nice to see that functionality works in version a and stops
working in version b ;-)
