Will Microsoft implement VB.NET into any future release. There is so much
code we would have access to from one day to another. And yes, lots of
porting work as well, but thats whats happening with vb6.0 users already
anyway - so lets step forward Microsoft ! What are we waiting for ?

While parts of VB.Net are already available in the Excel and
Word components of Office 2003, Access is a far more complex
situation. Maybe they will be able to resolve the issues
and do all the work in the next (or maybe later) version.

In the meantime, I think you'll find there's more existing
VB/VBA code available than there is VB.Net code.

It seems inevitable that *some* future version of Office will support the
..NET CLR, but there is no indication yet of whether the next version will be
the one to do it. One thing that you can be absolutely certain of, though,
is that there will not be an 'Access 2004'. There is no indication yet of
when the next version of Office or Access will be released, but it will
certainly *not* happen this year.
