I have recently upgraded to Access 2003 and I am still using the default
format (2000). The database that I am creating is for Access 97, my problem
is that whenever I convert it to 97 it makes my Linked Tables objects within
the database, not linked tables. I didn't seem to have this probelm using
this same db and convert it down to 97 when I had XP on my machine.

Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Anthony

You'll have to split it again in Access 97. If you think about it for a
moment, Access 97 could never read later formats, only its own and earlier.
Therefore, you must have had this happen with any version later than Access
97.

I tried that, but the tables are linked to XLS Named Ranges. Each Named
Range is a seperate table. Sure I could just re-link them, but the are over
100 and I am not aware of any "mass" linked method. Any thoughts?
