I have updated Microsoft Office 2000 on a Win98 computer
to Microsoft Office 2003. The upgrade (and additional
updates from Microsoft Update on the internet) went
fine. However, when I opened a database and tried to
make a new query, MS ACCESS would not allow me to enter
criteria for the new query. Also who I try to scroll thru
a list of queries on the object bar, the scroll arrow
will not work. What can I do to solve these problems? Is
there a patch I can use?

Very strange.

The problems you describe sounds like issues with the screen metrics. If you
were using Windows XP, you might try switching to Classic theme.

You say you are using Win98; have you modified the screen appearance? Large
fonts perhaps? If so, try switching back to the "Windows Standard"
appearance.

Hi Bruce,

Office 2003 has a minimum system requriement of Windows 2000 SP3, more
information about the system requirments of Office 2003 is available at
http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/editions/sysreq.asp. You should not
be running Office 2003 on a Windows 98 computer.
