hi
i have bitmap as report picture property. (i need this rather than an image
control cos the picture is mostly transparent and i need the report text to
print over the picture).
i want this to be shown or not shown according to value of text field on
group header. using "picture pages" property setting to 0 (all pages) to show
and 2 (no pages) to not show. Works great except its always out by 1 page! It
seems the picture is embedded on the report before the report format event
occurs. have tried page header and group header sections. have tried embedded
or linked but all same. have tried moving dependant text field to different
sections but all same.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks

Madhouse,

I've never done anything with this property in a report.
Have you tried using the report's events such
as "open", "activate" or "page" to control your picture? I
suspect a report event is a more logical place to control
a report property. Others more knowledgeable than me may
be able to throw some light on what events can be used
when and for what.

Not much in the way of a definite fix .....

Thanks for the reply Terry
yes, tried all them before posting message, thats why i think the report
picture is embedded before any VBA report event is fired.
