Hi,

I have Win 2000 Pro with service pack 4 and Access 2003. I stoll get the
message when I try to open database:

This file may not be safe if it contains code that was intended to harm your
computer,
Do you want to open this file or cancel the operation?

Instructions in the help don't work, does anybody knows how can I disable
this message.

Thanks

I have the same problem. I really need to disable that message, because I open this database daily at night to launch an update through a macro (called AutoUpdate). The task is scheduled in the Control Panel of Windows through a batch file with a command line that looks like this:

"C:\Archivos de programa\Microsoft Office\Office11\MSACCESS.EXE" "\\Server\Database.MDB" /WRKGRP "\\Server\Workgroup.MDW" /EXCL /USER AdmDB /PWD AdmDBPwd /X AutoUpdate

The problem is that, because of the message, the process stops and the macro is not executed. Could anyone help? Thanks a lot.

Perhaps going to Tools > Macro > Security and changing the selection to Low
might assist.

This is a standard Message that comes up that is part of
Microsoft Access. as far as i am aware this message
cannot be turned off but it you go into "tools - options"
you can have a look there and turn off some of the
settings!

personally i would make a copy of the database and change
te setting on the copy! if it works then you can mirror
those settings on your proper database project!

good luck!
