Access 2003 co-exist with Access 2002

I have Access 2002 installed. I also have a copy of Office 2003; if i
install Access 2003, will i have any problems continuing to use 2002? (
know that if i launch a .mdb file, i might get one version of Access or
the other; i don't care about this since i always explicitly start the
desired version and then open the .mdb file). Also, do i need to
install all of Office 2003 or can i install just Access?

Finally, i have been told that the Help system is greatly improved in
2003. Does anyone have any experience with this? Are the improvements
in the online (F1) help and/or in the VBA help (separate help file).

Yes, the can coexist. Don't install Office 2003 in the same directory
structure as Access 2002. You can install as much or as little of Office
2003 as you would like. The default file format for Access 2003 is the 2000
file format, just as in Access 2002. It is also capable of using the 2002
file format. If you don't need to create MDE files or have other reasons for
needing the older version, you can probably just go to 2003.

Yes, the help is improved. I don't know that it is as good as the '97 help,
but it is definitely better than 2000 and 2002.

Yes you can run the versions side by side (on the same computer). As far
as the help files.... honestly they are not like they used to be as in
Access 97 but they are a better improvement from 2000/02.
