Access 2003 and Sharepoint

Hi,

I'm a novice access users and I've been tasked to develop a database. I
found out today that the plan down the road is to link it with sharepoint.
Will access 2003 work with sharepoint as an interface?

It works, but not as well as A2K7, I hear.
