Is there an easier way to setup data bases with dozens of,
Yes / No, Male / Female, Ethnicity with 7 Different...

I know I am whinning but if there is an easier way that
requires less that two (2) brain cells id really
appreciate it.

I am relatively new to access programming and really need
some help.

Thanks.

Dino,

To be honest, I hadn't detected that you were whining, until you
pointed it out. I was trying to imagine "easier way" than what?
Maybe you could post back with some more details, perhaps with
examples, of what you are trying to do, and it is very likely that
someone will be able to assist with some good advice.

Please explain what you are trying to accomplish.

Yes, you can set up Tables with dozens of fields (they're likely to be
badly designed if you have more than two or three dozen fields,
though).

I'm afraid that a certain amount of intellectual effort is going to be
required, however. Some of the volunteers here will be glad to help,
but you'll need to do the work, and hopefully make the effort to
explain the problem *and* understand the answer!

There are many good reference and tutorial books
available to assist you in creating an Access 2002
database the easy way. I agree with the previous
replies, learning to design a database and then executing
your design using Access will require some intellectual
work on your part. With a little effort the results can
be very rewarding. I highly recommend you invest in the
books written by Ken Getz "Access Developer's Handbook"
(start with the Access 2000 book and then graduate to the
Access 2002), published by SYBEX. They are available
from Amazon.com at a very reasonable (discounted) price.
The books are written as references and tutorials with a
CD of all the examples and much more.

Have fun!

Come back to us with questions and we will do our best to
answer you.

Cheers,
Henry

Steve,

Thank you for your support, I will pick this up again in
January and try my best to make sence of it all.

Trying to describe an oil painting by braile is pretty
tough, I will do my best.

Again thank you.
