I've just set up an Access database for a research
project. I need to find out how I can copy the
information from a previous record so that I don't have
to manually re-type all the information.

It would be fine if all information from the previous
record would be copied to the new record - we can at
least edit at that point.

I've looked everywhere I can and have not found an answer
to this question.

Thank you for any assistance.

what you can do - is to use form afterupdate event to set default property
of textboxes you need to last entered. try on one field first.

also you can just use a shortcut ctrl+' to insert last entered value in new
record
