How ca I update first DB with data collected in laptop computer?

Thanks very much.

Hi,

For data: Replication. It may come in many flavors, from Windows 95
Briefcase, to XP that has something built-in utility for that kind of
scenario (but I don't use it, I can't really tell you more, but to ask on
an XP newsgroup, if you use XP ), or to explicit replication through the
Access replica manager, or VBA code. The easiest one? the 95 Briefcase, but
maybe the less versatile... even if it seems it can do what you want.

It is generally not suggested to replicate change of code: since
Access 2000, all the code is a big blob, so any change in the code change
the whole blob; avoid problems, split the database, and use standard file
transfer (as a whole entity) to modify code. Alternatively, for the code,
someone may try Visual Safe Source too, but that is becoming another subject
in which I have not really much experience, since that is a long time I
didn't used that.

For data only, with no structural modifications, replication should
be your best tool.

Hoping it may help,
