Suddenly my Access databases are Read Only unless viewed by the
Administrator. While trying to fix a networking problem I tried "sharing" my
C directory with other users on the network. According to an Access FAQ this
results in setting databases or directories to Read Only???? I've tried
turning off the Sharing attribute, reassigning control in the
Options>Security dialogue with no luck.
The "Users" talked about in the Options>Security dialogue are they all the
other Users besides the Administrator?
How do I turn the Read Only off? Is this going to be on automatically now?
And another question I don't expect to be answered, why in heavens name
would sharing a folder make everything Read Only??
Thanks
