I work with 2 clients. On my computer I run access 2003 and with one company
I have a secured database, the security file sits in the same directory as
the data.
The other company still uses 2002 and I reloaded access 2002 just so I do
not have to hassle at this point with setting up security. This database was
never secured and I do not want to make changes at this time. When I open
the database on their computer, I have access to everything. When I open the
database using Access 2002 it automatically opens with the security settings
of the secured client, even if I use the default icon created by reloading
access 2002. Access 2002 should even know about the Access 2003 database.
How can I open the unsecured database without interference from the other
security settings?
