I have a problem using Access 2002 Runtime on the Windows
2003 server. When I am accessing a form with a picture I
am getting an error "The picture cannot be displayed"
When I am using the FULL Access XP I do not get this
error. Also when I am using the runtime on 2000 or XP I
do not encounter this error.

any ideas why this is happening and how it can be
resolved?

thanks in advance for any insight.

This is just a wild guess, but perhaps it is because Win 2003 Server does
not have a program that can interpret image files like the XP OS would have
installed by default, like Microsoft Photo or Paint.

I would agree except that when I install the Full Access XP it works
fine. I think some component that gets installed with Full access XP
(a filter fo some sort?) allows the jpg file to be seen within an
access Database.

Anyone else ahve any idea?
