I need to run Access 97 on my computers as an upgrade is
not going to happen at this time. I have several
databases that will be created in Access 2002 and turned
unto MDE executeables. When the Access 2002 Run-time
player is installed on some computers (either Windows
2000 or Windows XP) The Run-time version takes the Access
License so that Access 97 returns an error
message "Microsoft Access can't start because there is no
license for it on this machine". The information in kb
297448 does not work as no association to the previous
version is possible as it doesn't run.
Is there a way to install the Run-time so this doesn't
happen?
