Not sure what group this falls under thus went for Access
General.

Scenario:
Access 2002 (XP) database on a windows 2000 platform.
Users with network admin rights can see all contents in a
list box fine. However if a standard network user opens
the same database and looks at the same listbox content,
it is blank (even the column header).

Even adding the user to the local Admin or Power Users
group made no difference. Adding the user to the network
admin group caused the database to perform as expected.

Any ideas folks?

Do you have user-level security enabled?

Unless you are using an api to get network or machine information, Access is
oblivious to which OS it is on. Obviously 32 bit code doesn't run on a 16
bit OS, but that's where it ends. I've run XP on Win 98, 2000, and XP OSs
without any problems. No Office applications are design to run under
unattended user accounts (as in running a user as a service) If this is your
problem, you need to re-examine your application.
