Access 2002 - Creating database in 2000 format

I'm new to Access 2002....

I've noticed that at the top of the program in the bar where it gives the database name... it has in parenthesis out beside the name (Access 2000 file format). Why is this? Does this mean I do not truly have the functionality of Access 2002

Also... On opening a form the properties box always displays.... even when I am not in Design View. Assuming I can, where can I go to turn this property off

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

its a feature in oaccess 2002, in Access 2002 you can set the new database
to be in Access 2000 or Access 2002, by default it setup to 2000 format

you can change it

I asked before looking myself.... Please ignore that last reply.... I found the property..

However.. My next question is... I have created all of my objects thus far in the 2000 format.... Would it be worth the trouble to create it in the 2002 format? And if so... is there any other way besides starting from scratch?
 
If you want to convert your Access 2000 database to Access 2002, use
Tools|Database Utilities|Convert Database.

In design view of the form, look on the Other tab; change the 'Allow Design
Changes' to Design View Only.
