In Access 2002 when I try to export a report to an .rtf file, it won't let
me. It prompts me to install a printer first. I don't want to print, I want
to export to file. I don't have a printer to set up anyway. This happens no
matter what format I select (.txt, .csv, etc). Even if I try to email the
report, I get the same thing. I had no problem doing this in Access 2000.
How can I get this to work?

TIA

All of the export operations are considered types of printing by Access. Just
install a generic printer driver. You don't need to physically attach a
printer, but you do need a driver.
