I am developing a dbase and I am continually having
problems with the margin settings in reports, i.e. access
keeps change back to the default settings.
Any ideas why ? Many thanks

Hi Terry,

Most probably you are not entering your settings via the "Page Setup" under
File menu while in the report design view. Once you set them and save, under
normal circumstances (MS is a bit fishy sometimes), they should remain set.

Yes I do save the settings under page setup but the
problem still occures.

This is a known bug which was fixed in SR1a, I believe. (FYI, there are now
three SP/SRs for Office 2000). There is more information here:

Hi Terry,

Sorry to hear that did not help. I guess your best choice is to follow the
other advice and install the SP. In a few instances (my case was Access
choosing Letter rather than A4) resetting/correcting the main printer
settings in Windows resolved the issue.
