I designed an access database for a charity organization
using Access XP professional version, but this orgnization
is using Acess 2000, and its operating system is windows
98. Everytime, I hit a button with some sort of codes, the
program is shut off because iligel operation. I went to
Tool/Reference to check if I missed any, but it doesn't
say any. Then I tried to compile, it doesn't do the
compiling, just says Illigel operation, and shut it off.
Can anyone help me how to solve the problem? Your insights
will be greatlly appreciated. Thanks!

First thing to check is that you are working on the same service packs.

Both systems should have installed Service Pack 3 for Office 2000, AND
Service Pack 8 for JET 4.

To verify the Access service pack, just open Help | About, and see if it
says "Access 2000 SP-3".

To verify the jet service pack, find the file msjet40.dll (usually in
windows\system32). Right-click and choose the Version tab. If it's less than
4.0.8015, go to support.microsoft.com and click the Service Packs link.
