Access 2000 task bar icons for forms nightmare

Hello everyone,
Is there anyway to disable the access toolbar or find a better solution to the endless sea of task bar icons when running an application built with Access 2000.

For example:
We have a sales database program that adds an item to the task bar everytime there is a new form opened up in the program. A sales employee may have 5 customer forms open up at the same time, plus an additional 3 forms open up just to get to each customer. As a result there are about 15-20 forms in the task bar. If our salesperson wants to switch back and forth between customers they can't even tell which item on the task bar is the correct form with the customer on it. If you have around 5 or more forms open you start to lose the text titles of the forms in the task bar because they appear as small icons.

When we had acces 97 you could open up multiple instances of the program and only have one icon in the task bar for each instance of access. This way our sales person could open the access program and navigate a bunch of forms to get to the form that they want to view (ex. customer 1 form) and then open another instance of access and navigate a bunch of forms to get the another form that they want to view (ex. customer 2 form) and only need to choose between 2 icons in the task bar instead of an endless sea of 15-20 icons with access 2000.

We are running windows 2000 with access 2000.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Annoying isn't it?
I really don't like that feature, but thankfully you can turn it off.
Go to Tools--Options--View Tab.
Look for the option that says "Windows In Taskbar" and uncheck it.
You will need to do this on each PC.

Hope that helps,

Okay, I figured it out
In Access under
Tools|Options and the View Tab, you have a checkbox
allowing you to Show Windows in the Taskbar
If you take out the check, the nightmare goes away
