Running Windows 2000 (SP4 & all post sp4 patches) with Office 2000 Premium
Disc One and Two (SP3 and post sp3 patches), which has been installed via a
custom install to "run all" from my computer. If I create a new DB, it will
open correctly and allow me "build away" - However, when i open other DB's,
the windows installer screen kicks in and requests that I insert Disc 2 of
Office 2000 Premium. Given that Access is on Disc one, why does it ask for
Disc 2 and is there a long term solution? I've found that if I uninstall
Publisher, this resolves the issue - but I use Publisher, so it's not really
a long term option. Any Idea anyone?
Regards,
Chris.
