Is there a Microsoft Access Reader for Microsoft Access
2000 that will successfully read the Access database when
the datatbase is on a CD?

I want to include a reader program on cd that will read my
Access 2000 database in the original format. If the
Access program is not capable of this, then please tell me
which database program will work and if the program will
convert my data in proper context.

Please email me at the below email address with your
suggestions.

I'm not sure what you mean by "read the database". There is a Viewer for
Report Snapshots, but that is far less than reading the database. With the
Office Developer Edition (for Access 2002 and earlier) or the Visual Studio
Tools for Microsoft Office System (Access 2003) you can package your
database with runtime support so that it can be used by (but the database
itself can't be modified by) users who do not have Access installed.

There's no "reader" similar to the "Word document reader" that used to be
(and, probably still is) available.
