How many records can Access 2000 handle? We need to
manipulate at lesat 42,000.
.
I believe you are safe. The table size maxed at 1 Gig.
It can easily handle 42K records. I have an access 97
database that currently holds 443,000 RECORDS in one
table.

Peanuts.

A friend has 100,000,000 records consisting of the daily closing stock
prices. And he can get to any stocks records in less than a second.
Obviously he has indexed the appropriate fields. <smile>
