Hi Bill,
That error message is not the greatest description of what is happening.
What it is occuring (most likely) is that the program you use to create
JPEG files is not OLE Server compilaint. Microsoft Access needs a program
running on your machine that is OLE Server compilaint. One such program is
Microsoft Photo Editor. Install Microsoft Photo Editor.
If it is already installed then perform the following:
- Open Windows Explorer (my computer icon)
- Select the menu option Tools > Folder Options
- Click Files of Type tab
- Select JPEG extensions
- Click the change button to choose Microsoft Photo Editor
(note: do it also for JPE, JPG too)

| I have Access 2000 on a Dell Dimesion 4600c running XP,
