Please help. I've created many db's in '95. Creating new
db in 2000 and trying to use command button wizard. I
can't seem to get any command button working with the
wizard creating an event procedure. I end up creating
them manually with macro's. The error message I get upon
execution of the command is "The expression On Click you
entered as the event propoerty setting produced the
following error: A problem occurred while Microsoft Access
was communicating with the OLE server or ActiveX control.
-The expression may not result in the name of a macro, the
name of a user-defined function, etc.
-There may have been an error evaluating the function.

I know the event is accurate in 95, why is the OLE not
responding appropriately? I've reinstalled 2000 with all
options and installed the service pack available. Anyone
know what's going on? I'm on XP-Home platform.

You guys are so great, and have been so good to me in the
past. I hope you come through again. I am stumped and
getting pretty frustrated with 2000.
