I am having a problem with access closing when I try to open a form after
making changes in design view. This has been happening for a little while
and I thought it was because of low memory but I have doubled my memory and
it is still happening. It does not do it all the time but just now it closed
2 or 3 times in a row before it opened the form. Does anyone have any idea
what may be causing this and how to correct it?

If by closing, you mean that Access is terminating with an error message
that offers to send a message to Microsoft. That can be a problem is
occuring between the operating system and the Access application. Try to
view the problem specifics before sending the message to Microsoft. BTW, it
is always good to send these messages to Microsoft, as it will help them to
fix problems.

And it could be the Name AutoCorrect bug working its foul ways again....

Be sure to turn off the Name AutoCorrect option ( Tools | Options | General
tab ).

Yes it is terminating but it doesn't give an error message. I am trying
Ken's suggestion to turn off Name AutoCorrect.
Thanks,
Walter

I assume you mean to uncheck all options under Name AutoCorrect. I've done
this so we'll see what happens.
Thanks,
Walter
