I have office professional sp3 on my computer. I upgraded
from windows me to xp home edition and now i can't open
Outlook. All the installer record files .msp have gone. I
daren't uninstall as I'm afraid i won't be able to re-
install.

Any ideas please?

Thanks,
I have fixed the problem.
When XP installed it removed all the .msp and .msi files
from the folder windows\installer. The files were in
a .cab file in a back up folder which was created when XP
was installed. I just copied the .msp and .msi files from
the .cab file to windows\installer. XP then recognised
Office 2000 and everything works now.
